Marble cleaner and marble cleaning products are many and varied. Marble cleaning tools are many but a few can be used all the time. A doodle bug and grout cleaning tool to me are necessities but only to be used when necessary, probably every 3 to 6 months. We use them every day as part of our cleaning system prior to sealing to ensure the tiles are 100% clean.
To ensure you are using the correct marble cleaning product check that your marble cleaner is ph neutral. This is an absolute must, let me give you an example. A very large 5 star hotel chain bought me in to repolish almost all of the marble floors. On checking the chemicals they were using I discovered there so-called ph neutral cleaner for the marble tiles actually contained 1% citrus. This might not have sounded much but after using it for a year or so you could of imagine how the marble tiles had lost all their shine. I re did about 30 units that were in the rental pool. After a repolish they came back to almost new look.S4S marble cleaning product is ph neutral and has many other great benefits for using it.It took a while to develop but the results are fantastic. We have had some great testimonials come back lately so these will be posted very soon.
Use S4S as your marble cleaner and I’m positive you’ll stick with it. Not only for mopping floors , washing walls etc, but for a spray and wipe on all your stone benches also.(don’t use too much, a little goes a long way.

Just completed three days of marble polishing.Big job, that when finished looked like new.Pretty monotonous work. Once you get the polish timing right , and the polish mix consistency right ,simply start at one end of the house and keep going.
PROCEDURE
Only do a metre at a time.Using the polyvac machine and a white pad under neath.Go back and forward with the marble polish consistency like thin tooth paste.Using a squeegee remove marble polish to next area. Then in area already polished neutralise. WE use S4S marble cleaner. Then wet vacuum waste and continue. A good marble cleaning tip is this.Do not marble polish then forget to neutralise. If you do you will have to repeat process.
We left the client with a starter kit of marble cleaner and a maintenance procedure to help keep their marble floors looking great.

Started a clean and seal of travertine today. 5 x bedrooms, laundry , study and large entry. It was left pretty clean after the builders. First we mixed the S4S with water at about 8/1. I used the polivac machine to sand the floors and then used a doodle bug to scrub the walls. Apart [...]
The final day . All the limestone is now dry and clean and ready to
be sealed. I used a razor scraper to remove any foreign matter while sealing. We used a soaking method of a silicone based water repellent. Fill the sealant bucket and apply with a lambs wool applicator on a T-bar. Apply [...]
Elaine called me explaining that no matter how much she tried to clean her marble vanity’s in the bathroom, they still looked dirty. On inspection I told her that the marble had become etched through spillages of acid based solutions such as vinegar, lemon juice, wine glass rings etc.
This is not just a case of [...]
We finally finished all the marble polishing. The floors came up brilliantly. Its definitely a two man job. After polishing 1m2 at a time for at least 2 minutes, its imperative that the polishing paste is vacuumed up of all waste then immediately neutralized. We used S4S as an effective neutralizer. After thoroughly cleaning the [...]
