Cleaned and sealed about 70ms of sandstone about three months ago. Had to go back and reclean it for the overseas client to inspect the job. Imixed up S4S stone cleaner at about 10 to 1 with water. The sandstone floors had not been cleaned since I left here.
Using the poly vac machine and a tan pad, I spread the S4S stone cleaner on the floor and lightly scrubbed then wet vacuumed the waste.Floors looked new again.Credit should go the sealer that I used too.

I was asked the question today if S4S could clean sandstone or is it for marble cleaning only.Well S4S was originally designed as a marble cleaner but has now found a place as a very versatile stone cleaner. As well as its ph neutralise stone cleaning ability it has many different things added that makes it so unique and easy to use.
Any stone cleaning has to be approached with caution.Ensure the right chemicals are being matched with the stone.AND remember always neutralise.

What a huge problem! 10 years of coating sealant every 6 months from the previous owner. It appears every time it lost its gloss, he would clean it just with a mop and put another inferior coat of sealant on it. Unbelievable! All my heavy duty strippers couldn’t pull it off…. I had to call [...]

I was called to a job with an internal BBQ area with sandstone tiles. It was plain to see that they had never been sealed. Steps taken to prepare the sandstone for sealing are as follows:
1. Mix a heavy duty cleaner ( high alkaline content) at 1 part cleaner to 5 parts water. (or as [...]

Had a few quotes to do.
Firstly had to do samples to show finish. the sandstone tiles had been sealed with a coating sealant, many times by the previous owner for 18 years. To do the sample, I had to apply a stripper and scrub twice. Then scrubbed with a sandstone cleaner, then neutralized with S4S. [...]

On new surfaces the initial pre seal is very important. Prior to grouting , the tiles need to be pre-sealed. Usually a water based pre-seal works well. This ensures complete clean up of all grout which smears into the porous surface of the tiles. After grouting you then need to use an acid based cleaner [...]

Great job this one. Newly laid sandstone 900 x 900 tiles just grouted. Would of been fantastic to have pre –sealed these sandstone tiles prior to grouting.
Two reasons I say this-
1. Easy to clean job for tilers.
2.Easy to remove any excess grout.
First we used a speciality acid and detergent based product to remove excess [...]

I had some really nasty dark stains on some sandstone to look at. Used a poultice of chlorine and dry powder on the sandstone, then covered it with plastic. The chlorine should soak in and the powder will dry the stain out over a twenty four hour period. The owner said the stain had been [...]
